Lake Casitas

Water Park

Children and adults alike can enjoy two distinct water playgrounds. For the younger children, a multi-level jungle gym with waterfalls, bridges and slides in a lagoon with water up to 18" deep. Parents can relax in a shady spot while the children play, or join their youngsters for a "splashing" good time.

For the whole family, the Lazy River offers a cool water ride on inner tubes along a scenic waterway featuring waterfalls, fog filled bridges and lifeguards at every turn to keep your family safe. The inner tubes are available free of charge on a first come, first served basis.  For the smallest of tots, a zero-depth pool sprays water from all angles, providing a safe, fun play area. Certified lifeguards are on hand at all times. The Casitas Water Adventure is open throughout the summer months.

Fishing

Lake Casitas is one of the premier fishing lakes in the region and is known for its "world class" bass fishing. Four of the 10 largest bass have been caught at Lake Casitas. In addition to largemouth bass, the lake is filled with rainbow trout, crappie, red-ear sunfish, bluegill and channel catfish. Record fish in all categories have been caught throughout the years. Night fishing until 11 pm from the shorelines is held on selected weekends when the moon is full and weather permits.

Camping

At Lake Casitas, with over 400 sites, you can choose the camping experience that suits you best. Some sites are lakeside, close enough to hear the lapping water, others are nestled among the trees, and still more are located on hillsides offering splendid views of the sparkling lake. They have sites to accommodate tents, tent trailers, campers and RVs, all with picnic tables and fire rings, and some with children's playgrounds close by. Shower houses with bathrooms are located at the front gate and towards the back of the park.  They also have a convenient, fenced, dry storage facility for recreational vehicles, boats, canoes & kayaks.
