Farm Stay With Animals

This space, formally a working barn on the property, was remodeled into an amazing, one-bedroom home, meant to be enjoyed by small families (sleeps 4) looking to make incredible memories. Careful and deliberate planning created a resort-like feel that caters to those deserving of a destination escape in a country-like setting, yet close enough to all the local San Diego attractions.

The space
Enjoy this unique barn with all the comforts of home. There is a full kitchen stocked with all the essentials needed to cook meals that can be enjoyed in the indoor dining room or in the outdoor vintage garden, complete with a covered and shaded farm table. During harvest, pick a few vegetables to include in your meal which really allows you to get the farm feel.

You will sleep like a baby in the queen bed appointed with luxurious bedding and tons of pillows to make you comfortable. Room darkening curtains will keep the morning sunlight to a minimum if you want to sleep in. The rain shower in the bathroom will refresh you and get your ready to enjoy all the property has to offer.

Relax in the spacious living room while watching a movie, or sit on the back porch in rocking chairs while listening to the sounds of nature, including frogs, owls, and peacocks at a neighboring winery.

Spend the afternoon having drinks in the corral, cooling off in the swimming hole, playing yard games, or simply unwind under the umbrella in the Adirondack chairs. A grill on the back porch allows you to enjoy the outdoor space without having to go far for a meal.

Take a stroll to the animal corral to feed the chickens, and ducks. They are out frolicking during the day and really enjoy getting treats from the guests. Take a moment to hang out and watch the goats with their funny, playful antics. They are sure to put a smile on everyone's face.

At dusk, and into the evening, gather around the fire pit to catch an amazing sunset and stargaze while you enjoy a warm, cozy fire.
