PROGRAMS
Early EducationPilgrim School provides a rich and nurturing environment in which children are able to grow, play, and develop at their own pace. We foster their different learning styles and respect their individuality. During our day, we provide opportunities for indoor and outdoor play, music, art, ballet, and age appropriate academic readiness to prepare them for their future education. The focus on the whole child provides a foundation for a healthy and well-educated person.
Elementary School
Our elementary school is a safe environment for children to grow, learn, and play. Small class sizes allow for enriched open-ended learning opportunities within a challenging academic program that promotes independent and critical thinking skills, encourages inquiry and investigation, and emphasizes independent thinking. The close community of faculty, staff, and families fosters empathy and social awareness as well as a sense of belonging. Students enter secondary school eager to learn, and with a curiosity about the world around them.
Secondary School
Pilgrim secondary students continue their progress from readiness to full participation in the world of young adulthood. They find themselves poised to integrate the lessons of heart, mind, and soul. As students meet the greater demands of Middle and High School, they find the support of attentive and caring teachers complemented by new learning tools. Access to technology — including individual iPads and laptops, media, and choice, encourages students to take risks within Pilgrim’s community of academic, athletic, artistic, and civic leadership. Students graduate with a strong sense of their potential, and a readiness to participate actively and thoughtfully as adults in the world.

REVIEWS
I attended Pilgrim School from 7-8th grade. I overall loved the experience the school provided for me. The faculty and administration were so helpful to me as a new student. By my first week at the school they all knew me which I didn’t have at any of the other schools I attended. I would definitely recommend this school for elementary and junior- high school. If you are looking for a school with a very welcoming community for your children, I would definitely recommend this one. Pilgrim School definitely was a great introduction to Los Angeles County, and Southern California for me coming from the East Coast. As a student with learning disabilities, the school did a great job helping me stay on track, and working with my schedule. I have many friends who enjoy/enjoyed their high school experience here, I personally needed to be with more kids. If you’re looking for lots of one-on-one time with teachers and smaller classrooms I would recommend Pilgrim.--Student
Pilgrim School is not like other pretentious Los Angeles private schools. As a recent alumni of Pilgrim, I can confidently say that Pilgrim helped me love what I was learning and helped me love learning in general. With teachers and administrators who treated students with a sense of equity and respect, school felt less like a job and more a community that works symbiotically. With an amazing STEM program, especially engineering, Pilgrim school helped me thrive and formulate and idea what I would like to major in during college. Cafeteria food is not good but thats about the biggest negative! --StudentCONTACT
