The Grove Debuts L.A.’s Newest Culinary Destination Atop The City's Most Iconic Trolley!

Toast and Taste Aboard the Trolley’s Top Deck as You Embark on a Journey Through The Famed Outdoor Destination!

Caruso is taking The Grove’s newest outdoor dining experience to new heights with the introduction of Bistro 1759. Located atop the property’s double decker trolley, Bistro 1759 is an all-new private dining experience where you can delight in a fabulous feast while riding through The Grove’s famed pedestrian street.

Beginning May 18, step aboard the trolley’s new top deck dining space and enjoy an unforgettable experience perfect for birthdays, celebrations, and anniversaries alike.

Available for parties up to 10 you can take in The Grove from a stunning new vantage point as the Trolley gently coasts along the property’s beloved First Street past the iconic Park and Dancing Fountain.

The coveted experience lasts 90 minutes and hosts a four-course menu specially curated by Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill. With main menu classics such as Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice, Wings & Oxtail Friend Rice, and chef selected Sashimi Platters, along child friendly options like Kids Maki, Blue Ribbon Cheeseburger, and Ginger Bread Pudding, you can personalize menus to be served on the lively 90-minute journey.

Wine and cocktail pairings are also available to accompany meals with a variety of wine, beer, sake, and spirits (for adults).

The Grove’s famous green and gold trolley, adorned with numbers 1759 (a signature Caruso Easter egg), is built from a historic undercarriage of a 1950s Boston streetcar and has been stationed at the property’s First Street since the properties’ opening in 2002. Driven by a classically attired conductor, the electric powered train has become an icon of The Grove for almost two decades, and now, is leading the latest guest innovation for the property as the first in Caruso’s premiering line of exceptional dining experiences.

In addition to The Grove’s Bistro 1759, extraordinary dining experiences are also available at Caruso’s The Americana at Brand and Palisades Village destinations. Private cobblestone dining is available Fountain-side at The Americana at Brand, while Palisades Village offers The Coast Lounge, an indoor and outdoor private event space available for groups of up to 10.

Bistro 1759 will be accepting reservations for private dining parties for lunch and dinner from May 18. Experiences begin at $1,000. For bookings and more information, please visit The Grove LA and follow @TheGroveLA on Instagram.
