The beloved three-hour showcase of L.A. based artists will air on PBS SoCal for those who cannot attend in person. Candy Cane Lane is a group of homeowners at Lubao & Oxnard Streets in Woodland Hills who collectively decide each year to put on an amazing holiday display of lights and decorations. For over 60 years, these eight blocks have been blanketed in lights. The displays light up stars the second Saturday in December and last through the end of the year.
Holidays at Universal CityWalk spectacular 40-foot tall Christmas tree will glisten with 200,000 LED icicles choreographed to the lights and sounds of the season as the magic of the holidays comes to life in the “5 Towers” outdoor plaza. CityWalk’s iconic, dancing water fountain with over 230 individual power jets will continue to mesmerize guests when it projects streams of choreographed water into the air complemented by red and green LED lights and an array of holiday-themed music. The Annual Mission Inn Hotel & Spa Festival of Lights will commence on November 23, 2024 until January 6, 2025. For 30 years the Festival of Lights has brought everyone tremendous joy in presenting it to this wonderful Inland Southern California community. The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa's Annual Festival of Lights accents the holidays in a very special way. This annual holiday event will include dazzling holiday lights on the front of the hotel, animated characters and much more. Lights will be on the exterior of the front of the hotel!
Whether you're getting into the holiday spirit with dazzling tree lightings, live performances, or festive markets, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Mark your calendars for the Annual Christmas lighting at the Americana at the Brand, complete with holiday entertainment, snow, and of course, the arrival of Santa! It’s the perfect way to start your holiday season with family and friends. The Season of Celebration at American at the Brand is happening between November 25, 204 through December 31, 2024.
Drive through the neighborhood of upper Hasting Ranch and enjoy a festival of lights and parkway displays. This tradition began in 1951 when a few Ranch families decorated their driveways with luminaria to guide Santa Claus. It continued when a homeowner created the first wooden parkway display and the competition was on! Join to see the themed streets and creative decorations. This event is happening from December 14, 2024 through December 31, 2024 from 6 pm to 10 pm.
The charming Town Plaza will once again host a magnificent 22-foot holiday tree, setting the stage for a memorable holiday kickoff celebration. Get ready for a festive evening of joy and sledding delights! Downtown Culver City is thrilled to reintroduce snow and sledding to this year's Annual Tree Lighting Sled-tacular! To experience the snowy fun, make sure to register in advance and sign the required waiver, ensuring a smooth entrance to the sledding activities. Catch Fresno’s seasonal tribute to the holidays known as Christmas Tree Lane. Drive through a 2-mile path to witness the dazzling light display of 140 residential homes located between Shields Avenue and Shaw Avenue. This event is free but donations are encouraged. The highly-anticipated Winter in the Grove event is back! Taking place on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Village Green Park, this festive event has something for everyone. Expect dazzling holiday performances from local schools, a holiday craft boutique filled with unique, handmade gifts, and plenty of inflatable fun for kids of all ages. But that's not all – we’re bringing in 50 tons of snow to create nine epic snow slides that the whole family can enjoy! ❄️⛄ It’s going to be a frosty, festive day that you won’t want to miss!

The Reagan Library is bringing back the beloved Christmas Around the World Tree Exhibition from November 9, 2024, to January 5, 2025. Explore 26 stunningly decorated trees, each representing one of the 26 countries that President Reagan visited during his time in office. From the bright and festive colors of the Caribbean to the elegant crystals of the Nordic countries, and the traditional decorations of England and Europe, this exhibition is a feast for the eyes.
One of the highlights is the Vatican tree, adorned entirely with white ornaments and featuring a life-size white peacock. Don't miss the White House tree, an elegant reproduction of President and Mrs. Reagan’s tree, complete with “Reagan Red” decorations and dozens of hand-blown glass ornaments.
This year’s exhibition will also feature a Gold Star Family Memorial Tree, where families of fallen service members are invited to add their loved one’s name to the tree. They can bring their own ornament or use a gold star ornament to attach a personal photo. It’s a heartfelt tribute and a special way to honor those who gave everything for their country.
Join in the holiday fun by writing a letter to Santa and dropping it in the big red mailbox at the Camarillo Community Center! From November 18, 2024, to December 9, 2024, kids can share their Christmas wishes, and Santa will send a letter back—no postage required! Holiday Cruises and Boat Parades
Watch the 62nd annual Marina del Rey Holiday Boat Parade on December 14, 2024. Catch a brief fireworks display at 5:55 p.m. before the parade begins. Enjoy musical entertainment from carolers, food truck fare, and photo opportunities from 6-8 p.m. The Fireworks site is on the jetty near the entrance of the main channel. All boats will begin circling the main channel of the Marina at 6:00 PM. This event is FREE and open to the public.

Holiday lights cruises take place from December 6, 2024, through January 6, 2025, with three nightly cruises. Departure times are 5:30 pm, 7:00 pm, and 8:30 pm nightly. Each holiday cruise is roughly 75 minutes in length. Newport Harbor in full holiday décor is not to disappoint. Weekends are more popular for holiday cruise times, and reservations are mandatory.
Prepare for a spectacular holiday treat as the 116th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade sets sail this holiday season, hosted by the Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce. Watch in awe as beautifully decorated yachts, boats, kayaks, and canoes adorned with twinkling lights glide through Newport Harbor, starting at approximately 6:30 p.m. between December 18, 2024 and December 22, 2024 .
The parade route begins and ends at the Tip of Lido Isle, offering prime viewing from Marina Park, a 10.5-acre community park with ample parking, a nautical-themed playground, a picnic area, and a sailing center.
