Join the fun in this hands-on clay lab and discover how artists have transformed earth and water into beautiful ceramics for thousands of years. Try your hand at the potter's wheel, mold a Medusa, and shape a handle to decorate a communal vessel. This program complements the exhibition Underworld: Imagining the Afterlife. (Free)

Have you ever wondered what lies beneath the surface of our big beautiful Pacific Ocean? Join Santa Monica Aquarium this Saturday for their virtual exhibit called “Underwater Treasure.” Their scientists will reveal the wonders of our local underwater paradises through a 360-degree experience. Donning special goggles, you will have the opportunity to dive into the Catalina Island Long Point Marine Protected Area and explore its vibrant marine life without getting wet. (Cost: Adults and kids 13 & over are $5m and children 12 and under are free)

This is a new exhibit at The La Brea Tar Pits Museum. The exhibit features life-sized models, hands-on activities and the latest research on these amazing creatures. At this exhibit you can see these creatures come to life, find real fossils, and more. Please check the website for hours.
