Description

Bats are all around us—nestled in freeway bridges, hidden in trees, and even helping control pesky mosquitos! home is where the bat is is a unique exhibition at Art in the Park that invites visitors to rethink their relationship with these fascinating creatures.

The opening reception on Feb. 2 (11 a.m. - 2 p.m.) features a lecture by wildlife biologist Miguel Ordeñana at 12 p.m., while the closing reception on Mar. 16 offers bat habitat journaling with Brian Young. The exhibit showcases interactive study-room-inspired displays, an educational booklet, and a Flowers for Bats garden supporting nighttime pollinators.
