Lunar New Year at Santa Monica Place

Santa Monica Place is lighting up for Lunar New Year, and you’re invited to join the celebration! From colorful cherry blossom wishing trees to dazzling red and gold lanterns in Center Plaza, the venue transforms into a festive wonderland. Stop by to soak in the stunning décor, snap some Insta-worthy pics, and grab a Lunar New Year craft kit for the kids (while supplies last).

Don't miss the special event on Saturday, February 8, from 2–5 p.m., where the plaza will come alive with cultural performances, a lion dance, balloon artists, crafts for kids, and more—all hosted by the hilarious comedian Paul Kim. This is the perfect way to honor the Year of the Snake with your loved ones.
