This immersive seasonal exhibition brings you up close with these delicate creatures as they dance through the air, rest on vibrant native plants, and shimmer in the sunlight.

As you explore, you’ll witness every stage of a butterfly’s life—from tiny eggs and hungry caterpillars to dazzling chrysalises and fully grown butterflies in motion. Keep an eye out for up to 30 different species, including California natives like the Mourning Cloak and Common Buckeye.
